The mapping system is normally integrated in our company’s Multivan, which allows to scan all areas that are accessible to vehicles. Since the Multivan has a four-wheel drive, it can also manage off-road terrain to a certain extent. The Multivan has also been successfully used from on board a ship, and could likewise be placed on board a train.
It is also possible to deploy the mapping system directly on board a ship or a train. However, this would require some extra effort for clarifying e.g. questions of power supply and calibration.
